The kick-off time for the South Coast Wolves home clash with Sydney Olympic has been changed to accommodate fans planning to attend the Wollongong Hawks playoff fixture on Sunday.
The Wolves were due to begin their match at 3pm at WIN Stadium - the same time Wollongong tip-off with Perth Wildcats - but officials opted to move the game to 5pm to allow spectators a chance to see both.
"We recognise that there are two big sporting events happening at the same time and we wanted to give the public the opportunity to attend both events," Wolves president Bobby Mazevski said.
"It is ideal given that people are already there. Hopefully the Hawks game will get people in a good mood to come down and support the Wolves."
It shapes as one of the biggest weekends of the year at the city's sporting home, with the Dragons playing the Brisbane Broncos at home on Friday night.
"It is great to see all three big codes in the Illawarra represented over the same weekend at the same venue. It doesn't often happen," Mazevski said.
