The champion BMX rider won gold in his under-13 boys scratch race, the sprint derby and time trial, with the judges awarding him the top honour in recognition of a young Dubbo rider who died in a car accident.
Cleaven competed with clubmate Ryan Britten, Bathurst rider Tyler Puzicha and Lidcombe Auburn's Maximus Lemoto for the champion of champions award, each having won their events.
Raced over two days in conjunction with the Dubbo Open Track Carnival, the event attracted riders from throughout the state.
The quality of competition was strong and reinforced NSW as a force in junior track cycling.
Eight-year-old Illawarra Cycle Club member Gabi Thornton from Figtree won the NSW under-9 girls time trial champion with a brilliant individual effort.
Gabi's clubmate William Hernandez, also 8 and from Corrimal, picked up a bronze in his sprint derby for under 9 boys.
