As a premiership and World Cup winner, Dragons winger Brett Morris ticked off most career milestones but said a Test appearance at WIN Stadium would rank among his greatest moments.
As revealed exclusively by the Mercury on Thursday, WIN Stadium will host the world champion Kangaroos and the winner of the mid-season Pacific Islands clash, between Samoa and Fiji, as part of the 2014 Four Nations tournament.
The seven-match tournament, launched on Tuesday, will begin with a double-header at Suncorp Stadium on October 25, with matches in Melbourne and New Zealand before the Kangaroos' match in Wollongong on November 9.
It will be the first time Wollongong will host the Kangaroos.
Morris, who scored 21 tries in 18 Tests, has a mortgage on a Kangaroos wing jumper and, barring injury, will turn out for the Kangaroos on his home ground.
He said a Test appearance in Wollongong would be the high point of a stellar international career.
"Representing your country is a huge honour but to be able to do it in Wollongong would be something special," Morris said.
"This is a ground I've played a lot of footy on growing up as a junior and to be able to play in my home town in front of my family and Wollongong fans would be a huge honour."
Morris played on some of the world's most renowned sporting grounds, including at last year's World Cup in the UK where he topped the try scorers list with nine four-pointers, but said WIN Stadium still ranks among his favourites.
"It would be right up there. I've played a lot of football on this ground," he said.
"It's a place I really like to play at and I've always seem to play my best footy when I play here."
His World Cup campaign included a brush with an Old Trafford advertising billboard in the Kangaroos' 34-2 victory over New Zealand in the final.
Morris joked that WIN Stadium definitely has the Theatre of Dreams covered in terms of in-goals.
"The in-goals will be nice and long here," he joked.
