A 75-year-old woman has been transported to Wollongong Hospital with minor injuries after she drove her car though a garage in Dapto.
NSW Fire & Rescue officers arrived on the scene first at 10.45am.
Dapto Fire Station officer Darin Sullivan said the Brook Street home had been seriously damaged.
He told the Mercury the crash had shifted part of the building by about eight centimetres.
Firefighters are set to remain on the scene to ensure the home is structurally sound.
The woman had minor injuries to her knees and stomach and was in shock.
She is in a stable condition.
