The chamber is changing the way it runs a number of events this year.
The annual Illawarra Business Awards is also changing venue and format.
It is moving to the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre in October.
Chief executive officer Debra Murphy said further details about the awards would be announced in June.
Ms Murphy said the Federal Budget Lunch also had a new and refreshed format.
She said it would feature expert commentary from CommSec and KPMG.
"Our guest speaker, Craig James, chief economist of CommSec, will provide a 'user friendly' commentary on the 2014 federal budget, which is due for release on May 13," she said.
"Craig is a regular commentator on television, radio and newspaper, and CommSec is one of the most quoted economic groups in mainstream media."
KPMG Wollongong is going to provide insights into a number of current-day business issues and how they affect the role of key decision makers within an organisation.
KPMG's presentation would also cover aspects of federal budget.
An expert panel includes tax partner Adam Cole, business adviser Courtney West, HR adviser Cherie Giorianni and business technology adviser Kosta Stavlas.
