I had, at 66, recently retired having worked full-time – first in Wollongong, then Brisbane and finally in Rockhampton – since arriving in Australia in January 1988.
For my retirement I have moved to Oaklands Village in Windang. Today I registered with my bulk billing GP in Warrawong.
I was dumbstruck when he told me that in the Greater Wollongong area there are no public health urology specialists and that no private sector urology specialist routinely bulk bills.
