Good Friday lived up to its name with temperatures in the mid 20s and set the tone for the Easter break.
On Monday, temperatures were slightly cooler with Albion Park reaching 23.7 degrees and Bellambi 22.2 degrees in the early afternoon.
But there was also enough sun to see people out and about enjoying the last gasps of the four-day break.
The Easter weather pattern, however, has a few days left to go.
The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting temperatures in the low to mid 20s for Wollongong and the mid-20s for Nowra through to Wednesday. But from Thursday, the sort of weather we expect from autumn will show up - colder and wetter.
The bureau is tipping temperatures to drop gradually from Thursday through to Sunday, reaching as low as 20 degrees during the day and 16 at night. The drop will bring with it a few isolated showers through to the weekend as well.
