It was ‘‘Pirates of the Caribbean Day’’ at Unanderra Public School on Tuesday.

Pirate Day was one of a number of school holiday activities organised by childcare and education group Big Fat Smile over the Easter break at centres across the Illawarra.

The young buccaneers were split into two crews, given the task of creating their own ship and then sent to do battle with each other and attempt to capture the other team’s skull-and-crossbones.

For a full list of children’s activities over the remainder of the school holidays go to bigfatsmile.com.au.
