Sanctuary Point motorbike crash takes Anzac road toll to five

A man has died after his motorcycle crashed at Sanctuary Point taking the road toll for the Anzac Day long weekend to five.

The man was riding down Kingsford Smith Crescent when it collided with a Toyota Camry at 4pm on Sunday.

The rider died at the scene; his age is not yet known.

The car driver was not hurt.

A coroner’s report will be prepared.

On Thursday an elderly couple died and a two-year-old boy remains in hospital with serious injuries following a crash in  Nowra.

On Sunday, two men also died in accidents at Gwandlan and Burrabadine.
