An investigation was launched when detectives from Wollongong’s Child Abuse Squad received information a girl had been indecently and physically assaulted at a Mount Warrigal property in January 2014.

A 28-year-old man was arrested at Wollongong Police Station at 3.30pm on Monday.

He was charged with two counts of indecent assault and one count of common assault.

He will appear in Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday.
