Police believe a group of men wanted over the sexual assault of a teenage girl near Heathcote may be living in the Illawarra.
Shortly before 5am on Sunday, April 20, police were called to a McDonald's restaurant on the Princes Highway in Heathcote after a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a man at the southern end of the restaurant's car park.
It is believed the girl had been speaking to a group of seven men inside the fast food restaurant from about 4am.
Around 4.20am, the girl was led from the restaurant by one of the men. He took her to the southern end of the restaurant's car park and sexually assaulted her.
Police and emergency services were called to the location, and the girl was taken to Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick, for treatment.
Investigators have released CCTV footage and images showing a number of people who were believed to be at the restaurant around the time of the assault.
The first CCTV image depicts a man aged in his late teens or twenties, with dark hair. In the image, he is shown wearing a blue/grey shirt with the sleeves rolled up and dark jeans.
The second CCTV image depicts a man aged in his late teens or twenties. He has short dark hair and wears a dark V-neck T-shirt, dark jeans and white shoes.
The third image depicts two men, the first appearing to be in his twenties with short, dark hair and wearing a short-sleeved, checked shirt and dark jeans.
The second man appears to be in his twenties, has a dark beard and appears to be wearing a red open neck shirt or T-shirt, with a dark jacket.
