Prince Harry has reportedly called it quits with British socialite Cressida Bonas.
The 29-year-old British royal has been dating the 25-year-old for nearly two years, and speculation was rife the pair were on the verge of becoming betrothed.
But it is now claimed their romance is over. According to People.com Prince Harry ended the relationship.
‘‘He found her too needy and it just wasn’t working out,’’ a source has told the celebrity magazine.
Until reports of the breakup, it appeared the couple were going strong.
The pair recently enjoyed a skiing break to Kazakhstan and they have been spotted out and about in public several times in the past few months.
It was even claimed Prince Harry had invited Cressida to live with him at Kensington Palace.
‘‘It has become very serious, very quickly and Cressida already spends most of her time at Kensington Palace, so Harry asked her to move in seven days a week,’’ a source told UK magazine Grazia earlier this year.
Prince Harry and Cressida have been guarded about details of their romance since they began dating in 2012.

Comeback a last hurrah: Lily Allen
British pop star Lily Allen says her music comeback might only be temporary and she is likely to devote herself to motherhood and writing for others in the near future.
Allen said she had found ‘‘a little pocket of time’’ to return to the music world but did not have any long-term plans for her own recording career.
Allen announced her intention to retire from the pop industry in 2009, going on to work on a fashion business and then concentrating on family life until she returned last year.In an interview with Q magazine, she said she is unsure whether there will be anything further following an album she is working on.She said:
‘‘When my kids start school I really want to be there. There was a little pocket of time I had to do this. One last hurrah and then I want to write musicals and songs for other people.‘‘I’m already halfway through a fourth album. Whether I can stretch to a fifth, I don’t know.’’
Allen, who releases her third album Sheezus next week, admitted she does not like her chart-topping single Somewhere Only We Know, which was a hit in December.
Her cover of the Keane song featured in the animated ads for the John Lewis Christmas campaign.
She told the magazine: ‘‘I really love the Keane version, I just don’t like my version - I don’t know what I think about that.’’
Despite her hopes of moving into writing musicals, she said her first attempt would not see the light of day. She has been working on a Bridget Jones production but said: ‘‘It’s really good but it’s not going to happen and I can’t say why.’’

Rita Ora new face of Roberto Cavalli
British pop star Rita Ora has signed on as the new face of luxury Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli.
Ora, who has previously fronted ad campaigns for DKNY and Madonna’s Material Girl line, has been teasing fans about an upcoming ‘‘surprise’’ with her recent Instagram snaps.
One of the photos was a picture of herself with the top designer’s wife and business partner, Eva Cavalli, in New York.
Fellow singer Maxwell, who took the pictures on Saturday, confirmed the news by uploading his own image of Ora and Eva Cavalli, alongside the message, ‘‘congratulations eva—cavalli and (photographer) francescocarrozzini for the amazing ritaora cavalli f/w (fall/winter) campaign #cavallifriends’’.
The group later celebrated the new collaboration with dinner at Omar’s restaurant in Manhattan’s West Village, where they were joined by rap mogul Russell Simmons.
The Cavalli deal comes shortly after Ora wore a sheer black dress from the label for a recent performance at the Coachella music festival in California.
It is the singer’s latest venture into the fashion world - she is also due to launch her first range with sports brand Adidas Originals, and recently unveiled her capsule collection for British cosmetics firm Rimmel.
