GROUP Seven selectors have named a strong side for this month's representative clash with Group Six at Albion Park.
The 17-man team contains former NRL players Bronx Goodwin, Craig Stapleton and Gary Warburton.
Group Seven won the NSW Country Tier Two championship last year and would have liked their chances of securing back-to-back crowns.
But the format was scrapped in favour of the previous structure, with Group Seven and Group Six re-joining forces to form the Greater Southern Region team.
Most of the players from last year's title-winning team were retained although Mark Simon is a notable absentee.
"Mark Simon wanted to play but he's auctioning his house that day and he's probably the only one not available," Group Seven coach Peter Hooper said.
"The NRL players we have this year just adds to the quality. Gary Warburton's a class act and will add some starch. Keiran Rankmore and Jono Dallas have been rewarded for playing in the Country final last year and for the way they've started the season," he said.
