In the latest robbery, staff at Woonona Liquorland were left shaken after being threatened with a knife on Monday night.
Two attendants, a 43-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, were at the counter of the bottle shop on Popes Road about 8.20pm when two people approached with their faces covered.
The robbers threatened the attendants with a large knife and demanded cash.
The employees complied, and the robbers fled on foot.
Acting Inspector Rob Vergano of Wollongong police said the employees were "OK but still a bit shaken".
One robber was described to officers as Caucasian, aged in their twenties, wearing black jeans and a dark hooded jumper.
The other was described as wearing a blue jumper and tan-coloured jeans.
Meantime, Lake Illawarra police have charged a 32-year-old man from Tarrawanna with a string of offences after he allegedly held up the Stone Wall Cafe in Kiama with a screwdriver on Monday morning.
The man was later apprehended at Moss Vale train station, after allegedly driving from Kiama and crashing his car.
On Tuesday, the man was refused bail in Wollongong Local Court.
On Friday morning, police were called to Towradgi Beach Hotel after two men held up the premises using a sawn-off shotgun.
The pair were given cash from the register and then fled about 2.45am. Investigations are continuing, and police have reviewed CCTV footage of the event.
On May 4, a knife-wielding robber held up Freedom Fuel on Towradgi Road, threatening a 24-year-old male shop attendant. The man handed over cash and cigarettes, and the offender fled.
