It was another little milestone chalked up in a fast-growing career - and it didn't go unnoticed by racing's first lady.
Mick Tubman's apprentice Winona Costin, currently on loan to Gai Waterhouse, is set to transfer her indentures permanently to Tulloch Lodge after booting home her first Saturday metropolitan winner on the weekend.
It continues the teenager's rapid rise through the apprentice ranks, which had her riding winners all across the countryside while based at Kembla Grange.
She's fast approaching the 100-winner mark.
Her latest victory on JJ Atkins-bound Almalad turned heads as the flashy juvenile led home a Waterhouse trifecta on her home track.
Her 3kg claim in the city is likely to come in very handy over the next couple of months as the tracks soften in winter and the big guns head to Queensland before taking well-earned breaks.
Costin already rode during The Championships in Sydney's autumn carnival but it was tinged with sadness when her Wellington Boot winner I Am Snippety broke an off-foreleg and was put down.
