The 49-year-old will share her journey to health and well-being with an audience of 180 at the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach.
After battling a tumour in her spleen in 2001, Mrs Kerr transformed the physical, mental and spiritual parts of her life.
Mrs Kerr was pregnant with Miranda when her mother died.
The death, she said, propelled her to push herself to be the person her mother would have wanted her to be.
But no matter how much she achieved, she never felt it was enough.
"The goalposts kept shifting," she said.
"I later learnt the difference between doing and being, so no matter what's around you, be love, grace, acceptance, calm. There's so much power in that."
Mrs Kerr has developed a certified organic personal care line called Divine By Therese Kerr and shares her tips for healthy living at theresekerr.com.
Event organisers Virginia Wren from Illawarra ITeC and Margaret Biggs from The Illawarra Grammar School hope to motivate women and celebrate their achievements on Friday.
The event, sponsored by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, will also raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
For Mrs Biggs, the choice of charity was personal - she lost her husband to leukaemia last year.
