Australian star Karen Murphy headlines a top-class field for this weekend's Jean Bartlett Master Pairs at Wiseman Park Bowling Club.
The two-day event, run by Wiseman Park Women's Bowling Club, is one of the biggest events of the year and will feature a capacity field of 34 teams.
World champion Murphy is a confirmed starter in one of her final events before she represents Australia at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in July.
Australian bowls stars Kay Moran and Kelsey Cottrell will also take part, along with top Illawarra players Dawn Hayman and the Noronha twins, Samantha and Natalie, who are in their first year as seniors.
Samantha Noronha and Australian under-18s star Ellen Ryan combined to win the event last year and will be defending their crown.
The 2012 winners, Mary Sheather (Wiseman Park) and Dawn Hayman (Fairy Meadow), were runners-up last year.
The tournament, started in 1993, was the brainchild of the late Jean Bartlett.
It was renamed in her memory in 2001.
The strict entry requirements require players to have already won a major pairs or singles title.
