Perennial competition front-runners University won't be dropping their guard against Robertson this week as they look to extend their lead at the top of the table.
With second-placed Albion Park facing a danger match against third-placed Wests, Sunday's clash with Robertson gives Uni the chance to possibly shoot three points clear at the top of the table.
Uni captain Heath Ogilvie said his side will look to start strongly against Robertson and stamp out any chance of an upset.
"You're always worried against the Robbos and those middle of the table teams," Ogilvie said.
"Teams do try to come out confidently against us and usually they come out pretty hard.
"That first 10-20 minutes is always difficult for us but if we can get through that we can usually swing it back our way.
"If you can put two or three goals on them early their attitude tends to change pretty quickly, so that's what we usually plan to do against these teams.
"They've [Robertson] got some real dangers there and a lot of speed up front but if we can contain that you've got to be confident of winning the game."
Uni have suffered just one loss at the midway point of the season, with a whopping 65 goals netted and just 19 conceded.
A loss and a draw with defending premiers Albion Park are the only blemishes on their record but Ogilvie said the depth of the squad will prevent any complacency creep into his side's psyche.
"We're in a good position but we haven't beaten Albion Park in two games yet so that's something we'll need to address," he said.
"Apart from that we seem to be travelling all right.
"Having a big squad keeps everyone on top of their game."
