Northern Pirates will look to end a two-game losing streak and maintain top spot in Illawarra baseball in Saturday's standout clash with premiers Wests Cardinals at Dalton Park.
Pirates had won their opening six games before losses to Berkeley Eagles and Dapto Chiefs in the past fortnight.
Jarrett Commane gave up only five hits in eight innings and led Chiefs to a 1-0 victory over Pirates last Saturday. Match-winner Ben Garveyscored from third base off a wild pitch.
Both clubs are chasing a top two position and the double chance in the semi-finals.
Cardinals outclassed Shoalhaven Mariners 14-1 last round but face a much tougher task given the pitching depth of Pirates.
In other round 11 games, Kiama Braves will be looking to continue the momentum from their comeback draw against Eagles in their home clash against Chiefs.
The Braves have already had two draws this season and are set to battle it out with Eagles for fourth spot.
In Saturday's other game, Berkeley won't want to slip up against Mariners at Eagles Field.
ROUND 11 FIXTURES
