Cringila boss Lupco Dafkoski has become the Illawarra Premier League’s second coaching casualty in 48 hours after he was replaced as Lions coach by former New Zealand International Chris Jackson on Monday night.
Dafkoski and the Lions agreed to end his association with the club after they were demolished 6-0 by Albion Park White Eagles on Saturday.
The decision comes just a day after Fernhill removed Julio Miranda in favour of experienced gaffer John Fleming.
But unlike the Foxes, Cringila will continue their season with an untried coach.
Jackson signed with the Lions last season as a player after several campaigns with Dapto Dandaloo.
He made 60 appearances for the All Whites over a decade long international career before linking up with Dandaloo in 2007.
He will take the position in a caretaker role for the remainder of the season.
Cringila currently sit 10th in the competition on 14 points, 10 clear of last placed Fernhill.
They meet South Coast United on Sunday.
