Player of the match Rihanna Brown scored the match-winner from a first half free kick, with Vincentia HS doggedly defending their lead in the second half. St Mary's missed a late penalty and had a host of chances in a bid to win their second straight South Coast title.
Vincentia HS now advance to take on a Sydney Metro side in the final 16 of the prestigious statewide under-15 girls competition featuring more than a hundred NSW government and independent high schools.
St Mary's had a great run to the regional final, beating Bulli High 8-0, Figtree High 5-0 and Holy Spirit, Bellambi 2-1.
