Development applications recently lodged to Wollongong City Council spell out the future for the eating-out elbow of the mall, with Mexican eatery Beach Burrito and Hungarian-style patisserie Kürtosh moving in.
Beach Burrito will take over a two-storey building on the corner of the lane, while Kürtosh plans to revamp the lower floor of the Lowes store, the back entrance of which feeds on to Globe Lane.
"We have two tenancies doing renovation work, with quite a bit of work to get those sites ready," said GPT development manager, Ben Hughes.
"We don't have dates confirmed, but we're looking at about three or four months for them to open."
With the new eateries, GPT has filled the last of its six sites in Globe Lane, which include spots operated by The Little Prince, San Churro, His Boy Elroy and the Telstra business centre.
Kürtosh, with four locations in Sydney, offers traditional Hungarian pastries, cakes, bread, coffee and tea. Beach Burrito currently manages 10 franchises down the East Coast.
