Ric Wickham organised the first Razorbacks Baseball Tour of the US in 2012 and, next month, 23 young baseballers from the Illawarra and Ryde junior associations will set off for an unique insight into American baseball.
A highlight will be watching three Major League games, including a visit to the iconic Yankees Stadium, home of the New York Yankees, and taking in a game involving the Philadelphia Phillies and LA Dodgers.
Baseball will be top of the agenda for the youngsters, their families and coaches who will also visit sites such as the Statue of Liberty, the 9/11 Memorial in New York, Disneyland and Universal Studios in Los Angeles, plus Capitol Hill in Washington.
The group will be special guests at a Triple A game involving The Lehigh Valley IronPigs - based in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The team will also take part in an under-13 and under-15 baseball tournament against teams based around Allentown and the Lehigh Valley region.
The final baseball experience will be a tour of US great Cal Ripken's Ripken Stadium, plus attending a Single A game featuring the Aberdeen Ironbirds, owned by Ripken.
