A black sedan collided with an unattended parked car at 3.30pm between Parkes and Watson Roads on Berrima Road and the area is now closed off. 

Emergency personnel are unable to confirm what took place; however, the male driver is in hospital with non-critical injuries and the female passenger died at the scene.

No one else was injured. 

Crash investigators from Wollongong are on the scene and will conduct an assessment.
