A man who sped by police in his car has been charged with high-range drink-driving.
Police patrolling Greenwell Point Road in Nowra at 9pm on Friday night said they stopped the man after he sped past them.
They noticed a four-year-old child in the car as well as a number of empty beer cans.
The man tested positive for alcohol and was arrested and taken to Nowra Police Station.
His breath analysis returned a reading of .167.
The man’s licence was suspended and he was also charged with drug possession and dangerous driving.
He will appear in Nowra Local Court on August 18.
