Police searched a storage unit on the Princes Highway at 9.40pm on Thursday where they found 65 cannabis plants being grown hydroponically, cannabis leaf and cannabis seeds.
The police were led to another storage unit where they found another 44 cannabis plants and cannabis seeds.
Police seized heat lamps, extraction fans and growth chemicals from the units.
Lake Illawarra police are still investigating.
