The Abbott government will have to wait for judgment on its performance but thus far their governing ability is at best P Plate (red) standard.

One thing I believe is if Gillard had the majority that Abbott won in the lower house, she would not have done the deal for the carbon tax with the Greens, many politically motivated budgetary decisions would have been curtailed and the current Hockey budget slamming the poor would have been non-existent.
