The 172-centimetre Irish-Aboriginal beauty is eager to see more brown girls and women crack Australia's fashion industry, so its catwalks and catalogues are more representative of different kinds of beauty.
"It's a really slow process to make any sort of change to the mainstream look but I believe we can get there," Danielle said.
The Holy Spirit College graduate signed a contract earlier this month with Sydney-based Aboriginal Model Management.
She said she got a taste for working in the industry when she was one of 18 finalists selected in an Australia-wide model search, and walked the catwalk at Australian Indigenous Fashion Week in April.
The opportunity included workshops to help prepare for a modelling career and mentoring tips from an idol, Samantha Harris.
"She's really shy - especially for a model - but when you got her talking, she was really down to earth and lovely."
