Eva migrated to Australia from Glasgow on the TSS Cameronia in 1952 at the age of 14 with her parents John and Eva and siblings Thomas, John and June.
Thomas died in 1956. May and Eva attended Kidsgrove Secondary Modern and were very close friends.
