The Windang combination saved one of their best performances for the final, beating 2006 State Senior Pairs champions Brian Purdie and Brian Harriott 24-14 at Dapto Bowling Club.
Earlier, Malley and Thomson defeated Oak Flats' John Noble and Trevor Smith 32-14 in their semi-final clash, while Towradgi Park's Purdie and Harriott edged out Albion Park's Mick Duprez and Rod Raftery 22-20 in the other semi-final.
Malley and Thomson beat the 2012 Illawarra Senior Pairs champions Alan Bramble and Barry Wray 21-14 in the quarter-finals and won all six matches by a least seven shots.
They were also the only pairs to play more than five matches, having been drawn among 16 teams in round one at Dapto.
With two former Zone 16 Senior Pairs champions in their way to the title, including Purdie and Harriott, Malley and Thomson had to play well in each game to win the crown.
The Windang over-60s team now represent Zone 16 in the state finals, which will be held in October.
Finally, congratulations to Dapto's Joe Cox and Buster Connell, who are the Zone 16 President Reserve Senior Pairs champions in 2014.
Grade 5-7 bowlers Cox and Connell won six matches, including beating clubmates Ricky McClelland and John Woolley 21-11 in the final at Albion Park BC.
