The likes of Besart Berisha and Bernie Ibini took to WIN Stadium to prepare for the August 10 game against Italian champions Juventus.
However, first they will tackle the Young Socceroos in a friendly game in Wollongong on Tuesday night.
The most notable result came from Wests in the Illawarra Coal League, who thrashed Helensburgh at Rex Jackson Oval on Sunday, winning 40-4 and throwing the premiership race wide open.
The Illawarra Lions continued the upsets, running over Sydney AFL first division leaders Balmain at North Dalton Park on Saturday.
Shellharbour thumped Berry-Shoalhaven Heads 46-6 at Ron Costello Oval to keep the head on Group Seven leaders Warilla.
There was plenty of action on netball courts and at Kembla Grange racecourse, while Wes Falconer captured the Zone 17 Champion of Club Champion singles title at Figtree RSL Bowling Club.
