It was not the first time the business couple have won the award but this time it was the perfect way to celebrate 10 years owning and running Fastway Couriers Wollongong.
"After winning Australia's Franchisee of the Year last year, I am honoured to have been recognised again by the FCA," Mr Hamod said.
"My wife Andrea and I would like to thank our dedicated Courier Franchisees, staff, clients and the Fastway Franchise Support Office for the role they have each played in making Fastway Couriers Wollongong a success."
Fastway Couriers chief executive Richard Thame said Mr Hamod had consistently led the franchise to higher levels of growth and efficiency since taking over in 2004 when he was Fastway's youngest ever national Franchise business manager and its youngest ever regional franchisee.
Since then he was recognised as Fastway Couriers' best Regional Franchisee in 2006 and 2010 and was named NAB FCA Excellence in Franchising Awards Franchisee of the Year in both the NSW/ACT and National categories in 2013.
"Anthony and Andrea's passion for the Fastway brand and their dedication to the local community has seen Fastway Couriers Wollongong become one of the strongest performing regional franchises in the network," Mr Thame said.
"On behalf of the company, I would like to congratulate them on this fantastic result and wish them all the best in the national category later this year."
