At about 6am on Friday, officers from the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service executed a search warrant at a home on Silvertop Parade.
They found prohibited drugs, believed to be anabolic steroids, and items suspected to be used in the manufacture of illegal drugs, including capsule presses and mixing machines.
Police from Lake Illawarra Local Area Command attended the home and seized the items.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Port Kembla Local Court on September 10.
