A Wollongong man has been refused bail after allegedly intimidating a woman and her son on Thursday.

At about 4.10pm on August 7, a 40-year-old woman was driving out a residential car park on Kembla Street when she noticed a Toyota Camry allegedly following her.
As she drove along Kembla and Smith Streets, the Toyota allegedly drove close behind her, swerved into other lanes and crossed double lines.
She parked her car outside Wollongong Police Station on Church Street, and the 50-year-old male driver of the Toyota stopped beside her and made threatening gestures.
He was charged at the scene and charged with five offences, including stalking and intimidation and driving a vehicle in a menacing manner.
He was refused bail by the registrar at Port Kembla Bail Court on Saturday. He will appear in Port Kembla Local Court on August 11.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
