One month after Bulli was transformed into a virtual car park by the popular event, organisers have changed the event set-up to allow for better traffic flow.
"It's a breeze now," organiser Kirrily Sinclair said. "It has changed so it's basically one-way traffic and people come in, they park on the racetrack and they exit out back onto the highway.
"It was great, the numbers were really manageable even though I still think we're sitting at about 5500 people."
Ms Sinclair said they had adopted a similar traffic plan to the Illawarra Folk Festival, which filters traffic through the back of the site.
"It has been a learning curve as we go ... but now that people know what the process is we're having no problems with parking at all."
Ms Sinclair said Bulli surf club and Bulli PCYC had raised thousands of dollars from the gold coin donations received for managing parking on site.
