The relegation dogfight between Bellambi and Fernhill looks poised to last until season's end, with neither side yielding in the race to the finish.
The Rosellas hold a three-point lead over the Foxes at the bottom of the competition, but currently hold an inferior goal difference should the pair finish level.
Fernhill looked to nab a point back on their rivals when they drew 1-1 with Woonona on Saturday, but Bellambi fired straight back with a valuable 2-0 win over Cringila Lions.
"It has been good. Over the last couple of weeks we have been building nicely, so it was good to finally get the three points," Rosellas coach Greg Smart said.
"We have been competitive and finally got the reward for that on Saturday.
"We took our chances [and] probably could have scored a few more, to be honest."
Bellambi play Port Kembla and Woonona on the run home, while the Foxes meet Wollongong Olympic and South Coast United.
