Radio Cabs of Wollongong: Now you can book a taxi based on your GPS location or by entering in your pick-up details. The app locates the closest cab and you can watch your cab arrive on a map and receive "on approach" notifications.
UOW Shuttle: Timetables and GPS: UOW Shuttle provides a timetable of upcoming buses for the North Gong and Gwynneville-Keiraville shuttles. Using GPS trackers on each of the buses, you can see where they currently are.
Guide to Illawarra: This app keeps you up to date with everything happening in the Illawarra - whether it be a festival a few streets away or a beach party where everyone's invited. It tells you what's going on near you and how to get there. Add your own listing, reviews, and even upload your own photos directly.
Team App: Team App provides real-time push notifications of your local sports teams' updates. Easily categorise your members into groups to improve communication with players, parents, coaches or any number of access groups. I use this app to track game results and news updates for my team The Northern Pirates Baseball.
Illawarra Mercury App: And last, but not least the Illawarra Mercury iPhone App gives you your news now, wherever you are and whenever you want it. You can even respond to assignments and send in tips using your phone's camera. It's quick and easy to use, and it's free (for a limited time).
