Police have commenced an investigation after a bottle shop was robbed at Woonona overnight.

Shortly after 8.40pm on Saturday a man entered a bottle shop on Park Road holding a knife.
The man walked up to the front counter and threatened the attendant demanding cigarettes.
The shop assistant handed over a packet of cigarettes and the offender then demanded cash.
After placing cash from the register into a bag, it was handed to the offender, who walked from the premises.
The man is believed to have walked to a red Ford Falcon and driven west along Park Road.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
Police from Wollongong Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
The man has been described to police as being of Caucasian appearance with a solid build. He is 20-30 years of age and between 175 and 185cm tall.
At the time of the robbery he was wearing dark jeans and shirt with black shoes and a black hoodie.
He wore a black beanie, sunglasses and black gloves whilst carrying a black handled knife.
