John and Anne Croker and Gayle Russell were among the volunteers, who have formed Corrimal Revitalisation Action Group to beautify the northern suburb's main strip and clear the clogged creek which runs alongside Memorial Park.
Planting and mulching will continue this Saturday with help from Keira MP Ryan Park and Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery.
Volunteers can register at Memorial Park between 9-9.30am.
