Illawarra singles champion Julea Morgan will play in the state championship finals after winning the regional play-off at Windang Bowling Club.
Warilla member Morgan came from behind to beat Goulburn Railway's Jocilin Hayman 25-20, on a slow green following several days of heavy rain.
Both ladies had to adjust to the slower conditions, with Hayman appearing to take control after leading 20-14.
But as the sunshine appeared and the green began to quicken, Morgan charged to victory.
Playing near-perfect draw bowls, Morgan went on an 11-0 run to take the regional final.
A big crowd was on hand with Morgan to now represent Illawarra against the other association singles champions at the NSW finals at Tuncurry Bowling Club from October 25.
