After more than 800 entries were received from budding photographers vying to have their images included in the calendar, judges narrowed the field to 10.
More than 500 public votes were received online, with the top six photos from Justin Beverstock, Jake Lapham, Grant Brown, Tony Apps, Kyle Coffee and Matt Farrelly. Photos from the winners included shots of Austinmer pool and the Wollongong lighthouse, while natural phenomena such as sunsets, and Kellys Falls at Helensburgh were also popular.
The winners each receive $500 and a Canon Powershot G16 camera, and will have their images included in the calendar.
The Illawarra Mercury 2015 Calendar will be on sale for just $9.95 from late September at newsagents, from the Mercury's front counter at 77 Market St, Wollongong.
