Although some improvements are evident, the northern end still mostly resembles a goat track. If this federally funded highway number one is in such a state, what hope have we of achieving  a safe and roadworthy Princes Highway? 

The conditions of our roads are a disgrace.

What the hell do they do with all the tax revenue raised? It’s just not good enough, when thousands of unemployed could be given jobs building better roads.
