Students showed off their best moves at the Illawarra Multicultural Youth Conference this week.

Nearly 70 high school students, all of whom have been living in Australia for three years or less, took part in workshops on issues such as communicating under stress, safety, relationships and sexual health, as well as some light-hearted time for dancing, art and drumming.

Organising committee member Anthony Scerri said they had received positive feedback from students.

"They had a lot of fun, both educational and exciting and engaging," he said.
