Bulli High School students presented a cheque for $1400, including a $300 contribution from Glenmore Park High School, to the North Wollongong school for students with special needs on Friday morning.
Para Meadows teacher and careers advisor Deb Koppel said the money would go towards helping the school's six final-year boys hire suits and a limo for their graduation celebrations in December.
"There's no way budget-wise they would be able to do that, this is great and all the boys are going to hire suits and hop in a limo and do a little tour around Wollongong for their formal," she said.
"Parents come as well, it's a big family occasion."
Brad Green, year 12 advisor at Bulli High, said the students had run mufti days, a hot dog lunch, a student versus staff soccer game and a concert to raise the money.
