Cameron Scott, Mitchell Wright, Zachary Marshall, Natasha Mullany and Chloe Heffernan are all with the Illawarra Cycling Club/Illawarra Academy of Sport and will race for NSW in women's events, under-15s or under-17s.
The Illawarra riders starred at the two selection events, the Hunter Junior Tour and NSW Junior Road Championships at Wagga Wagga.
Cycling NSW chief executive Phil Ayres said Illawarra was strongly represented in the NSW squad.
"It's a good team. The 17 girls will be particularly worth watching, but I think we can all do very well at the nationals," Ayres said.
"The obvious ones are Mitch [Wright], Cameron [Scott], and Natasha [Mullany], who have all been there before".
Illawarra riders won a host of medals at the NSW Junior Road Championships.
Ryan Britten took gold in the under-11 boys road race and time trial, with Mitchell Wright (under-15 boys) claiming gold in the road race and time trial.
Zac Marshall won silver in the under-15 road race; Chloe Heffernan bronze in the under-17 road race and time trial and Cameron Scott gold in the under-17 men's road race.
