University of Wollongong's Univative program has been named a finalist at this year's NSW International Student Awards.

Univative is an inter-university, interdisciplinary and intercultural business consulting competition designed to enhance students' employability.
It has been named a finalist in the community engagement category and international student Zoe Broisson, of Belgium, is a finalist in the higher education category.
The winners will be announced in Sydney on Monday.
Students work in teams in the Univative program which has an emphasis of having diversity in each group.
The teams generally include international students and all involved work on a real-life business issue or challenge.
Univative includes the University of Technology, Sydney, University of Western Sydney, University of Wollongong, University of New South Wales, University of Sydney and Macquarie University.
Ms Broisson was recognised as a finalist for the many things she has done in the community and on campus while in Wollongong studying.
She has worked with Rotary, UOW's Rotaract Club, SCARF, a group working to improve the lives of refugees living in the Illawarra, and Farmaid.
University of Wollongong Peer Learning and The National Centre for Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) director Sally Rogan described her as a worthy finalist.
"In addition to her community work she is employed by my team in two roles as a student leader here at UOW, in the PASS program and the Global Communicators program. These programs offer significant levels of training and personal and professional development to senior students such as Zoe who undertake the roles."
Deputy Premier and Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Stoner said international students were welcome in NSW.
He said the state appreciated the contributions they made to their fellow students and the wider community and this was a way to say thank you.
"This year's finalists in the student award categories come from 10 countries and represent a range of education institutions," Mr Stoner said.
"They have been involved in many initiatives, from mentoring and organising student social and cultural events to volunteering with charities and community groups."
