A cavalcade of motorbikes converged on Kiama on Saturday morning as police officers from across the region assembled for the NSW Police's Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance.

More than 100 officers from Lake Illawarra and Wollongong local commands rallied at Kiama police station around 8am, before heading south for the annual commemorative journey.
The riders travelled on to Goulburn, joining a convoy of up to 900 police from across NSW who then headed to Canberra's National Police Memorial for a special ceremony.
Nearly 1500 riders were expected to make the trip to Canberra.
The ride, now in its fifth year, aims to mark the service of fallen officers, as well as raise funds for police charities.
Lake Illawarra police inspector Paul Allman, who took part in the commemorative ride, told the Mercury the event was a good opportunity for officers to gather with other police from around the state and raise money for a good cause.
All money raised by the NSW officers is set to go to NSW Police Legacy, who support police officers, both serving and retired, in times of need.
The Illawarra contingent is hoping to raise more than $2000.
