An eight-month-old Woonona boy found next to his mother, who may have been dead for days before her body was found, has been moved to Sydney Children’s Hospital.

On Wednesday, the hospital said it could not release any information on the boy, however police had previously said his injuries were non life-threatening.
He was initially taken to Wollongong Hospital after being found in a critical condition about 2pm on Tuesday.
A post-mortem examination is being conducted on the woman, aged in her 30s, who may have died several days before police were called to her Cotterill Avenue house about 2pm on Tuesday.
Police believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
