The Stockland KidzWish Christmas Party has expanded enormously in its 11-year history.

"We order about 20,000 chicken nuggets from McDonald's and we're lucky enough to have 400 volunteers on the day," KidzWish marketing manager Karouna Micheal said.

This year's Cinderella-themed party on November 21 will feature former yellow Wiggle Greg Page, a pantomime, presents and a visit from Santa.

"Its a day where sick and disadvantaged kids are in a safe and fun environment," Mr Micheal said.

Julie Jordan's son Caleb, 10, has Down syndrome and moderate hearing loss and has been attending KidzWish events since infancy.

"The party is something he looks forward to all year," Ms Jordan said.

"The Christmas party is great for families like ours to relax. You can get stares and looks taking kids like Caleb to a mainstream concert but here everyone is in the same boat."

Caleb also attends the KidzWish sports academy, which Ms Jordan says "gives him a sense of identity and belonging".

"Caleb can't play sport in the mainstream because he needs someone to work with him one on one," she said.

KidzWish is encouraging families, schools and organisations to apply for places at this year's party as spots are filling up fast.
