But during the spring school break, she won't be using any spare time she has to go to the beach.
She is on a mission to develop a dual career in art and fitness training and will be running daily art classes at Towradgi Beach Hotel during the next two weeks for preschool and primary school aged children.
Ms Burchell has worked for her mother, Natalija Vocanec, in a private art school in Warilla that started in Shellharbour Village four years ago and now she wants to follow in her role model's footsteps.
That is why she is doing business studies at WEA.
Ms Vocanec is a talented artist who does artwork and interior design for the corporate world and is delighted her daughter wants to help run Little Leonardo's Art Studio.
Ms Burchell said she loved seeing the smiles on children's faces when they found out what they could achieve in creating art.
"They become quite proud of themselves after they finish a piece."
Ms Burchell said she would not trade her school holidays mornings with the children for anything else.
"What I love about this is seeing the kids surprise themselves and what they can do.
"They always enjoy themselves.
"We only have two weeks off a year with this business but we love it because we get to see the children's excitement every day.
"I always work on the school holidays but it does not really feel like work because we enjoy it so much." Ultimately, Ms Burchell would like to combine her two passions during school holidays.
She would like to run art classes for children in the morning and fitness classes in the afternoon.
"I have finished a certificate III in fitness (personal training) and I am doing my small business management diploma with WEA," she said.
"I will probably start off my personal training with private classes and have even been thinking about getting into personal training for children. There is not really anything like that for them.
"Especially girls who don't play sport or anything like that."
Ms Burchell said it was all about investing in her future and that was why she did not mind working so hard.
"I am hoping to get more involved in the management of the business so mum can also focus on her interior design work and painting," she said.
She is also keen to continue her fitness modelling after recently finishing third in a National Amateur Body-Builders Association competition in Sydney.
It was only the second time she had entered.
"It is becoming more popular," Ms Burchell, who is trained by Asher Prior, said.
"A lot of girls my age are starting to show interest. It is good but it takes a lot of discipline.
"My next competition is in March."
Ms Burchell's goal is to get a pro card to compete in International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness competitions.
